A View To A Kill (1985)

a view to a kill 1985Starring: Roger Moore, Christopher Walken, Tanya Roberts

Directed by: John Glen

Written By: Richard Maibaum, Michael G. Wilson

Rating: PG (US) Running Time: 2 hr 11 min

Two Cents:

This was Roger Moore’s last run as James Bond, and unfortunately he went out with a whimper instead of a bang. All the elements are in place, but the whole thing just feels a little tired. Even the action scenes lacked any real spark or excitement. It did however have a great opening song performed by Duran Duran, and the score is superb.

Movie Prep:

You need to keep your expectations low for this one. It’s not the worst Bond, or the silliest, but it’s possibly the dullest next to Octopussy.

Best viewing format:

A good HD screen and surround sound system would be nice so you can enjoy John Barry’s score.

Best element for me:

The opening title song and John Barry’s score.
